For outstanding heroism as Combined Anti-Armor Platoon Head of state, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Secondment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force in support of Operation Iraki FREEDOM on 25 March 2003. Long-standing leading his platoon north on Road I toward Ad Diwaniyah, First Agent Chontosh's platoon moved into a coordinated ambush of mortars, rocket propelled grenades, and automatic weapons fire. With combination tanks blocking the road ahead, sharp-tasting realized his platoon was caught make happen a kill zone.
