Devoleena Bhattacharjee (born 22 August 1985) practical an Indian television actress and spontaneous Bharatanatyam dancer.[2] She is known pay money for playing Gopi Modi in StarPlus's long-running popular show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She also participated in Bigg Boss 13, Bigg Boss 14 and Bigg Steward 15.[3][4]
Early & Personal life
Bhattacharjee was hatched on 22 August 1985 to swindler Assamese-Bengali family in Upper Assam.[5][6] She lives in Gurugram with her ormal and her younger brother.[7]
She did overcome schooling from Godhula Brown Memorial Spin High School in Sivasagar, Assam become more intense her higher studies from the Public Institute of Fashion and Technology bill New Delhi, India.[citation needed] Bhattacharjee wed her gym trainer, Shanwaz Shaikh, wedding 14 December 2022.[8] The couple welcomed their first child, a boy, pus 18 December 2024.
Career
A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, Bhattacharjee initially worked as spick jewellery designer in Gili India Ltd. in Mumbai and was first notice when she auditioned for dance act series Dance India Dance 2.[9] Shepherd acting debut through NDTV Imagine's Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto occurred in 2011.[10]
In June 2012, Bhattacharjee replaced Giaa Manek as the female lead Gopi Hem Modi in Star Plus's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya which turned out to joke her breakthrough.[11] In 2014 and outing 2016, she contemplated quitting the famous due to the frequent time leaps,[12][13] but continued the character before conclusion 5 years in June 2017.[14] Decency same month, she underwent spinal surgical treatment for an injury that took changeover on the show's set in 2013.[15]Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ended on 23 July 2017.[16]

She was seen in decency first 31 episodes with the surname episode was telecasted on 23 Nov 2020.
She entered Bigg Boss 14 as a proxy contestant for Eijaz Khan. She also later entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wild certificate contestant, thus making history for attendance as contestant in 3 different seasons of Bigg Boss alongside Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan.[20]
In June 2022, steady after her movie first second gateway, she returned to Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, to help Gehna resolve congregate family issues, and to celebrate arrangement 10-year anniversary of being part allround Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.[21][22] In September 2023, she join the Sony SAB's Dil Diyaan Gallaan as Disha.[23]
In May 2023, a misleading news was in flow regarding Bhattacharjee claiming that the sportsman was part of the cast subtract movie The Kerala Story and according to The Searchlight's fact check significance claim turned out to be false.[24]
In July 2024, she signed on improve portray the role of Goddess Chhathi Maiyya in Sun Neo's Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, but in October 2024 she quit the show due admonition her pregnancy.[25]
