Sursinhji Takhtasinhji Gohil (26 Jan 1874 – 10 June 1900), ordinarily known by his pen name, Kalapi was a Gujarati poet and rendering Thakor (prince) of Lathi state modern Gujarat. He is mostly known plump for his poems depicting his own sentiment.

Life
Kalapi was born on 26 January 1874 to his father Maharajah Takhtasinhji, the ruler of Lathi, straight small state situated in a isolated away corner of Saurashtra region, with the addition of mother Ramaba.
