Kimmy Cantrell discovered his artistic vision in extraordinary school when he fell in warmth with clay in an art monstrous. After his first hand-built vase was chosen for display at the provincial board of education, his teacher advisable he study art in college. Kimmy uses many forms to tell his stories, from unconventional standing sculptures to still life collages.  Sculptor Kimmy Cantrell is celebrated for colorful ceramicmasks depicting expressive unequal faces with exaggerated eyes and capricious features. After a 20 year career in business, Cantrell reconnected with his sculpting practice in 1994 and has worked as a finish artist ever since.
